The Flowers Valley: The Heaven on earth

                     Flowers valley is a national park situated in Chamoli District, a part of western Himalayas and one in the nature. There is a story that Lord Hanuman took the Sanjeevni Buti from here, so it has too a significant importance for Hindus. This valley was founded by Mr Frank Smith and Mr R L Holdsworth in 1931, while they were returning from their track of Camet Mountain. Mr Frank Smith attracted by the beauty of the valley so he managed to come here again in 1937 and wrote a book named "The Flowers Valley". After the publication of the book the valley got popular and many people from India as well as other countries attracted towards the valley and come to visit. There are more than 500 different species of flora in the region. According to the Mahabharat the flowers Valley known as Nandan-Kanan in the ancient times. Pushpawati a tributory of Bhyundar Ganga is also float from the valley.
